       ASSISTANT RESEARCH  SCIENTIST
RESEARCH PROJECTS
Development of genomic –based biomarkers for human T1D prediction and diabetic complication
Using high throughput functional genomic technologies to identify and validate genomic-based biomarkers for human type 1 diabetes prediction and diabetic complication.
Investigation of autoimmune tolerogenic cells in human T1D
This project was proposed to explore the potential function,  especially the function in immune system, of T1D candidate genes and identify the role of these genes in pathogenesis of T1D and therapeutic target potential.
Functional evaluation of Human T1D susceptibility candidate genes
To explore the immune cell population contributing to immune tolerance, characterize these cells in human T1D and investigate the underling molecular mechanisms.
